General Terms of Contract

Hakuba Snow Bus

By booking a Hakuba Snow Bus service, you or your client accepts the full conditions and terms of use of Hakuba Snow Bus. Hakuba Snow Bus is a booking agent for several suppliers including air, road, lift companies, ski schools, hotels, ski hire and associated service providers. All services have Hakuba Snow Bus conditions however all external supplier conditions are also to be adheard to. Hakuba Snow Bus will not be held liable and does not assume responsibility for loss, damage, injury, accident, sickness or delay to passengers on or in connection with any Hakuba Snow Bus or related service due to acts or war, terrorism, civil riot, failure of machinery or their related parts, acts of nature including extreme weather conditions or any other scenario including traffic. Travel insurance is compulsory and information is available on request. Prices are correct as at 01 May 2009 and subject to change without notice.

Hakuba Snow Bus and its suppliers reserve the right to cancel, change, divert, postpone, amend or delay any of its services, or provide alternative transport by another licensed company. Hakuba Snow Bus will not be held liable for any expense incurred to anyone affected by any of these modifications to the scheduled departures including missed connections and/or flights and stopover accommodation. Hakuba Snow Bus do not guarantee to meet connecting services outside of those specified and confirmed through a booking, regardless if they were booked together as a package or if adequate time was allowed for connection.

By booking any third party service with Hakuba Snow Bus, you or your client accepts the airline terms & conditions and terms of use. For more information on this, contact the Hakuba Snow Bus office.

Reservations

Hakuba Snow Bus does not accept any "on the spot" bookings. All travel must be pre-booked through Hakuba Snow Bus, a partner supplier or a travel agent. Reservations can be made online up to 120 hours before departure through email, online booking forms or over the phone. Our office must be contacted for reservations made within 72 hours. Late bookings fees may apply. Passengers must be at the coach pickup point 20 minutes before scheduled departure. Etickets are used for coach documentation. This documentation must be provided when checking in or boarding a service. Upon booking, an eticket will be sent to the designated email address. If this is not received, Hakuba Snow Bus should be contacted before departure as etickets are needed for boarding.

Changes, Refund and Cancellation Fees

Cancellation conditions: Non refundable, non transferable
Amendment Fee: Changes requested to confirmed bookings, will attract a fee of 3,000 yen per person per change regardless if the amendment is adding to the total of the booking. This fee is in addition to amendment and/or late booking fees and also to all charges levied by airlines, hotels and ground operators.

Conditions of Travel

Bookings are essential and non-refundable and non transferable.

Luggage allowance for coach:
1 large suit case or 1 large ski snowboard (“coffin”) bag + 1 carry on bag weighing no more than 10kgs. Additional luggage should be couriered from Narita to Hakuba, this can easily be arranged on arrival at Narita Airport. The company reserves the rights to deny boarding to any intoxicated persons or off load any passengers who ignore company regulations or directives.

Client responsibility:
It is the responsibility of the client to contact their travel consultant as soon as possible if they experience any problems or issues while they are away or if they miss any of their transfers or travel arrangements. The client voids Hakuba Snow Bus of any responsibility if they do not contact Hakuba Snow Bus within a reasonable time window.

Travel Insurance:
Is compulsory for international travel. It is highly recommended that at time of booking, you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy of your choice to cover loss, damage, illness, injury or other unexpected circumstances.

Infants:
Infants must be under the age of 2 years at time of travel. Infants will not be allocated a seat however if a seat is needed, the infant should be booked as a child.

Currency:
All prices are in Japanese Yen.
